"When I first dove into photography, I studied the photos of great black and white photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Sebastiao Salgado. I researched what cameras, film, and lenses they used, and practiced the art of finding the synchronistic moments of storytelling shooting on black and white film. The two images displayed here are part of The A-ha series, inspired by the works of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell: An awakening through art, through experience, through utter loss, through utter joy; where the veil is lifted, and for a moment we see through the eye of the hurricane.
