Richard Scott Lynch (American, b. 1960) is a Los Angeles based artist who works on canvas, sheet metal, wood, paper and silk screen, using oils, acrylic and hi-res ink jet printing and typography to create visionary collages that draw the viewer in, and inspire.
 
An award-winning veteran of the world of creative advertising, Lynch collaborated on thousands of iconic movie and television campaigns with BLT Communications,
where he was a founding partner. He spearheaded campaigns for such notable films and TV shows as The Silence of the Lambs, Little Miss Sunshine, Spider Man, Mission Impossible, Big Fish, Titanic, The Wolf of Wall Street, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sopranos, and Six Feet Under, among others.
 
Drawing on his years of training in visual messaging, Lynch the artist creates emotionally uplifting creative metaphors that appeal to viewers’ subconscious while inspiring critical reflection on contemporary tropes.
 
Lynch was educated at Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, and Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
